Khalid Khalil is vice president Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking (ESSN) at Hewlett Packard for the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa region (MEMA). He is responsible for revenue, margin, market share growth as well as organizational development across 82 countries with USD 1bn+ revenue with 50% from x86 servers and the remaining evenly split over critical servers, storage and networking. He leads an organization with roughly 400 staff of which 17 direct reports.
Previously, Khalid held a Regional Sales Director role for Emerging Market at Brocade communication. He was responsible for Sales of Networking and Storage Area Networking solutions in the Middle East, Mediterranean, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS. The result of the significant growth he drove in this region was the opening of Brocade subsidiaries in Moscow, Warsaw, Istanbul, Dubai, and Riyadh.
Prior to Brocade, Khalid was Regional Sales Director for France, Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa at Commvault Systems where he introduced the startup company at that time to this market, hired partners and drove sales with major wins.
Prior to Commvault, Khalid built the Professional Services Organization of Legato Systems in France, Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Khalid holds a Master in Computer Sciences from Paris 6 University (Institut de Pierre et Marie Curie) in Paris.
